Causes of high temperature of packaging machine motor

In the whole operation process of the motor, the temperature rises too high, which not only shortens the service cycle. When it is serious, it will cause fire. So what are the causes of high temperature of packaging machine motor?
1. Overload: if the mechanical belt is too tight and the shaft is not flexible, the packaging machine motor will be overloaded for a long time. At this time, the mechanical maintenance personnel should loosen the drive belt, disassemble and inspect the mechanical equipment, so as to make the shaft more flexible, adjust the load as much as possible, and let the motor run under the rated load.
2. Asynchronous power supply: if the power supply is out of phase, the motor will be in single-phase operation, and the motor winding will be heated and burned rapidly in a short time. Therefore, we should check the motor fuse, switch status, and then use a multimeter to measure the front line.
3. Cage rotor bar is broken, welding is loose, and the cross-section area of rotor bar is too small, which will increase the loss and heat generation. The rotor temperature can be tested after shutdown to find out the cause of the fault and solve it in time.
4. The rotor and stator core rub together and produce continuous metal impact sound, which will lead to excessive local temperature.
5. External wiring error, △ connected motor is not connected to Y connection correctly. Start and operate with load as far as possible, but the flow of packaging machine will exceed the rated current and generate heat. If the motor is wrongly connected to the △ junction, the rated current may be exceeded and the packer cannot be operated during idling.
